چکیده

Based on plasma endotoxin/toll-like receptor-4/nuclear factor-kappa B signal pathway to investigate the protective effect of soothing liver mixture mice with injury induced by antituberculosis drugs. A total 72 Sprague Dawley male rats were randomly divided into blank control group, model silymarin group and (low, medium high dosage), 12 in each group. 16 h after last administration, pathological changes tissue observed hematoxylin eosin staining; blood samples taken from eyeball detect function indexes (alanine aminotransferase, aspartate alkaline phosphatase) oxidative stress (superoxide dismutase, malondialdehyde, glutathione peroxidase) inflammatory factors (interleukin- 1beta, interleukin-6, tumor necrosis factor-alpha) content endotoxin plasma; microRNA expression levels toll-like receptor-4 nuclear rat detected real time reverse transcription–polymerase chain reaction. Soothing can alleviate hepatocyte injury, effectively improve rats, attenuate reactions body, reduce inhibit hepatic factorkappa protein expression, higher drug dose, better was similar dose efficacy. has a drugs; mechanism may involve regulation signaling alleviation body's

Protective effect of interleukin-36 receptor antagonist on liver injury induced by concanavalin A in mice

Objective(s): Interleukin-36 receptor antagonist (IL-36Ra) is a new member of the IL-1 family that exhibits anti-inflammatory activity in a variety of inflammatory and immune diseases. Our purpose was to determine the effect of IL-36Ra on liver injury in a mouse hepatitis model induced by concanavalin A (ConA). Materials and Methods: Mic...

Protective Effect of Folic Acid against Apoptosis Induced by Ischemia/Reperfusion Injury in Rat Liver

The anti-apoptotic gene bcl-2 is located in mitochondria, but it is uncertain whether its expression affects hepatocyte survival in ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury. This experiment was designed to evaluate the role of folic acid in expression of bcl-2 in I/R in rat liver. Eighteen Wister rats were divided into sham-operated controlgroup (C) (n=6), I/R group (...

Liver Transplantation in Antituberculosis Drugs-Induced Fulminant Hepatic Failure

The antituberculosis drugs isoniazid (INH), rifampicin (RMP), pyrazinamide (PZA), and ethambutol (EMB) usually expose patients to the risk of fulminant hepatic failure (FHF). This report presents a case of liver transplantation in antituberculosis drugs-induced FHF and reviews the relevant literature. A 39-year-old woman with pelvic and salpinx tuberculosis experienced complex pelvic exenterati...

Hepatoprotective activity of the extract of Homalium letestui stem against paracetamol-induced liver injury

Homalium letestui Pellegr (Flacourtiaceae) is used traditionally by the Ibibios of Southern Nigeria to treat stomach ulcer, malaria and other inflammatory diseases and Yorubas of western Nigeria as an antidote. The hepatoprotective effect of the stem extract (200-600 mg/kg) was evaluated by the assay of liver function parameters, namely total and direct bilirubin, serum protein and albumin, tot...

Preventive effect of novel nanomissile of silymarin on liver injury induced by carbon tetrachloride in rat

Background and Aim: Silymarin, obtained from Silybum marianum has hepatoprotective effects and antioxidant activity and has been used in the treatment of liver diseases. Because of its poor aqueous solubility and low bioavailability its use has been limited. The aim of this study was to prepare a new and inexpensive formulation of silymarin using simple dissolution methods and compare its hepat...
